License Policy

Purchasing software from ProFactor involves the purchase of a license, which is used to unlock the software, turning it from a limited trial edition into the full package. The license system works as follows:

  • Upon completing your purchase, you will receive a license ID. This is a unique string which represents a form of 'electronic receipt' of your purchase to the license system. Please note that the license ID is not the actual product license, only the means for obtaining the license.
  • On starting the software you have purchased you will see a license request form. Enter your license ID into the box provided, and press 'obtain license'. This will initiate a secure internet request for a license file. No personal details are transferred during this process: Only the license ID will be sent, and only the license file will be received.
  • The downloaded license file will be automatically installed, and from this point onwards you will have a fully functional unlocked version of the software you have purchased. This installed license file represents your full product license.
  • Multi-user licenses work in much the same way, with the exception that unlock requests are fully automated up to the requested number of users.
  • If you have trouble with the automated license file system, you may obtain a license file and install it manually through our support site. To do this you should log in to our site and view your Account Management page. Click on your license details, and from there you will be able to download the license file. This file should then be copied into the installation directory for the software you have purchased.

Software Refund Policy

We have recently been made aware that there is a pharmaceutical product which shares our company name. Please be advised that that product is not produced or sold by ProFactor Software Ltd. We are not involved in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, and as such we cannot help with any enquiries or refund requests regarding that product.

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from us, and we aim to provide a great user experience and complete customer satisfaction with our products. However, if for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase and would like to uninstall the computer software, then please write to us within 7 days of your online purchase and we will offer you a full refund.

Simply email us directly at requesting to cancel your computer software purchase. We will provide you with instructions for disabling the computer software, and fully refund your payment.

Requests made later than 7 days after the date of purchase are dealt with on a case-by-case basis, and we may require futher information from you about the nature of the cancellation.
